Singapore is a very clean, safe, modern and efficient city
(country).
It doesn't have main attractions like The Big Ben or The Eiffel Tower,
but the city as a whole has a nice feeling to it.
The picture above may give the impression of otherwise, but
many buildings in Singapore have some bright,
friendly colors on the outside, making the city colorful and welcoming (why
don't we do this in Holland?).
The city is supposed to be shopping-mecca. And by God, there
are loads of huge shoppingmalls.
It is possible to walk airconditioned past malls for kilometers on end.
I do think that many shops are alike.
The country also has an excellent zoo!
Now I know what the hamburgers are made of...
Cages in this zoo are barely visible! This wolf I suddenly
encountered when walking around.
At first I thought: Oh Lord, it has escaped! But there turned out to be a deep
moat between the animal and me.
I also went to an orchid garden. Nothing wrong with the place!
The city itself is divided in different parts. Underneath Clarks Quay: colonial style.
There is also Chinatown, Little India, Arab street and Malay suburbs.
